    Pros

Company does pay well. Plenty of job opportunities due to revolving door environment. Coporate offices are located near excellent food joints.

    Cons

Antiquated management style; numbers driven with apparent disregard for human factors; high pressure atmosphere; constant corporate restructuring destroys morale and yields fear amongst employees.

I have been working at Education Management Corporation full-time

    Pros

flexibility, work from home, relative independence

    Cons

Work is constant, hardly a breather - terms are so short there's no time for students to build true skills. Focus is too much on tech and not enough on foundations. Students are often unprepared, burden is pushed onto faculty.

    Advice to Management

It seems that most of the upper management has never taught so they do not understand the process.

I worked at Education Management Corporation full-time

    Pros

Located in a nice area was shops and restaurants nearby. Two 15 min breaks and an hour lunch. Large cafeteria with plenty of space.

    Cons

Majority of management are rude, immature, and down right jerk.
Upper management are so disconnected from line level employees. Serious lack of communication between management. Poor quality of leads which causes many potential students to know they're getting ripped off or think it's a scam.

    Advice to Management

You all supposedly began as ARs yet you cannot seem to understand the difficulty in the job on retaining students. Stop caring about how many apps you get and worry about retention. Lower the cost of tuition! $70K for a bachelor degree is ridiculous!
