    There has been great leadership and the ability be very self sufficient within my team and role. My teammates are great!

    Currently, there is uncertainty within the organization with the company being sold and purchased by a non-profit.

    Pros

    I did have a great Director who was a great coach and boss.

    Cons

    Job security is suspect. There are always layoffs and the company has been downsizing since 2010. Job moral is very low. Pays the lowest among its competitors.

    Advice to Management

    Quit taking advice from UOP.

    Pros

    The work environment was good, as was the schedule.

    Cons

    Management is usually promoted by their abilities to "sell" or meet goals, but not on their ability to train and develop others. It is also a high turnover company, so if you don't cut it you won't last long.

    Advice to Management

    Give your mid-level managers more training on how to develop their employees.

    -good pay
    -great benefits
    -good hours
    -if you like being on the phone all day and doing sales you'll be fine

    Cons

    -not about the students, ALL about the numbers
    -company has been struggling, though getting sold to not-for-profit by the end of summer
    -management is not the greatest
    -fear based style of management- "hit the numbers or your fired"

    Advice to Management

    -Drop the corporate lingo- if it's all about the numbers and making money then be honest about it instead of hiding behind "we're here for the students"
    -Invest in your employees- showing appreciation can help motivate instead of running on a fear based system
