VERY rarely see your co-workers. The company gets the team together once a year in the Summer. Would be nice to have another event in the Winter for a mid-school year "pick me up" meeting.

Making your own schedule, lots of free time in summer, company car/benefits, working from home.

Cons

High turnover among the sales reps. This is due to low base pay, a poor commission structure, and unrealistic sales goals set by management. Cold calling is necessary in small business sales, but it is not everything. Cold calling numbers are emphasized more than actual sales. The product is outdated compared to competitors and to compensate for this, the price is cheaper than competitors. However, that does not mean more sales!

Low salary and upward potential. Working in education is a very long sales cycle, management is starting to be all about # of calls and meetings which don't translate to more sales. Also a small company, little resources to use. They cut prices on courses but in an industry where reduced prices don't translate to more sales, the sales staff felt the brunt of too much expansion too fast.

The employees are friendly and welcoming. The management genuinely thoughtful and concerned about your advancement within the organization.

The still evolving systems and software can cause glitches which make it necessary to scramble to satisfy customers.

Good town to work in. The people are nice, and the stress is mostly external. It feels like the people generally care.

Technology can feel a bit dated at times. Not clear guidelines since. Feels a bit repetitive. Theirs not real movement in the company.
