I worked at Edwards Jet Center part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun industry, team works like a well-oiled machine, excellent relationship with peers and management, small company feels more like family, fun christmas party, good bonuses

    Cons

Sometimes things can get a little busy, making you feel a tad overwhelmed.....but never for extended periods of time.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great job! Training is really excellent and management is very approachable.

I worked at Edwards Jet Center part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

good organizational culture, outstanding management, comfortable atmosphere, great company to work for as a college student at Rocky (line dept or customer service), good company to fly for as a pilot with family and desire to be settled in one place, friendly customers

    Cons

there aren't many negatives to Edwards Jet Center, although I suppose if you hate the cold, Montana wouldn't be a wonderful place to work and reside in

  3. "Great way to learn a lot about the aviation industry as well as make invaluable connections."

    Pros

Working in the aviation industry, make great connections, fun in the summer and fall, gain lots of experience with how aviation industry works, really hot days GM would provide water or Gatorade, really cold days usually warm soup and crackers, company good about Christmas bonuses.

    Cons

lots of differences in opinions for growth between generations of employees, pay scale doesn't promote initiative, hard to get ideas seriously considered by most management, Winter gets really old.

    Advice to Management

Organize a few meetings every year, perhaps one per quarter, so that the employees that want to contribute can at least offer their ideas. A good portion of your employees were college graduates that graduated with either Aviation Management or Aeronautical Science. It would do a lot for Morale and for the Growth of the company to listen to some of these new ideas. Even if they are not implemented it would at least get people more involved and concerned about the well being of the company.
