I worked at Edwards Lifesciences as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazing and down-to-earth colleagues, Innovative products, high growth - I was a summer intern but we had opportunities to meet management and they all seemed committed to innovation done right and cared about employees

    Cons

Aggressive timelines (which can be good and bad), not all business units function the same way so you will see different sides to the company based on the unit you're in but this is slowly being addressed

Don't know about compensation as an intern, but graduate students hourly rate was $25

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

I have been working at Edwards Lifesciences as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazing work culture. Best supervisors I ever had in my 10 year career who are willing to give meaty projects. Exciting workplace with the state of the art cafeteria and facilities.

    Cons

Intern to full time conversion - next to zero. The full time opportunities are just in time hiring. Not many cons, I should say.

    Advice to Management

Continue the great work you are already doing

    Pros

The company was very passionate about the patient and the customers they serve. It was very motivating to work with a young crowd at such a great company who strives for quality products. I learned a lot and have made some long-term friends from a mere six-month internship.

    Cons

After the internship, I have no cons to say about this company--granted, I was an intern and did not experience as much as full-time employees.
