Not sure about culture after two mergers in 2011 and 2015.

    Pros

    Cons

Did not share in company benefits as I was hired through Kelly Services.

I worked at Edwards Wildman Palmer (More than a year)

    Pros

Opportunities to travel to different offices; develop documentation, freedom to develop and driver technology instruction pursuant to location needs.

    Cons

Customer service was not at the top of internal operations.

    Advice to Management

Respond to internal issues as you would to external clients; customer service should be extended and practiced both internally and externally.

I worked at Edwards Wildman Palmer full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Associates in the providence office got challenging work and are made to feel like part of the team right off the bat. All the people are freakishly nice and polite, even when they are overworked and on deadline. I don't think I fully appreciated how rare it was to have such an unpretentious, collegial atmosphere at a big law firm until I started working elsewhere. This was a great place to work.

    Cons

They are struggling like most major law firms these days and appear to be merging their way out of the struggle. I hope it works! But it can be challenging to always be in a post merger state. Also, like most major law firms, they had a hard time with diversity. It should be noted, however, that candidates from diverse backgrounds, while rare, are treated with respect and inclusion.

I worked at Edwards Wildman Palmer full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

When I first started I was told my my supervisor that I would be trained in all aspects of the job I was hired for.

    Cons

New management came in and gave selective training to people in my department.

    Advice to Management

When choosing a manager, please consider someone with relevant experience instead of someone who will work for less than market value

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Edwards Wildman Palmer full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There is not one to report.

    Cons

No respect for their employees; secretarial supervisors do not know how to manage; staff is treated and discarded like a used Kleenex

    Advice to Management

Get rid of all of the management that is running the company into the ground. Maybe Locke Lord can turn it around but it looks very doubtful.
