    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Efficient Attic Systems part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I am glad to have this opportunity to work for a company that provides a needed service for the community and customers have come back to me and said how much a difference the new attic system has made for their energy bills and the comfort level of their home.

    Cons

I am still learning the phone system.

I worked at Efficient Attic Systems full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They pay a respectable hourly wage. You are rewarded when you make sales and the management is understanding of life. I believe they have a great product in the radiant barrier and they do have all the knowledge necessary to go along with their name.

    Cons

The communication between salesmen (walking Home Depot..etc) and the guys that actually do the work on the homes is virtually nonexistent. Most of the time the people around you are well aware of you and make a point to avoid you. The pressure is on to talk to people and set appointments though. Not for the kind of person who has anxiety and/or isn't comfortable interrupting, or in most cases, annoying customers in store to just buy some nails....

    Advice to Management

Your sales Reps need to be better equipped for the job. There is too much paper involved. Faxing is okay. But there are a lot more efficient ways to get the information needed relayed to scheduling, and scheduling to dispatchers. I don't remember the sales program I used but there were a handful of things that were irrelevant/never used/pointless or were to just be left blank. At one point I was driving around the metroplex not receiving compensation for mileage. Maybe there is a liability thing there but whatever the case, supervisors that drive from store to store daily deserve more compensation. A lot of the sales team seemed to be living paycheck to paycheck and every dime counts.

I have been working at Efficient Attic Systems full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You meet some really nice customers from time to time.

    Cons

Management lies about perks. Watch your paycheck because they short it every chance they get. The leads manager never makes sure the leads are legit and you are expected to drive on location even if information is bad. Management mentioned that his worst sales employee makes 60K, this is not the case because his best said that his best year was only 70K. Sales manager talks down to the sales team.

    Advice to Management

Take care of those who are helping pay your paycheck. Don't talk down to employees. Don't lie about potential earnings being so good when your best employees are only making half that.

    Pros

Flexibility, will keep you busy, nice hr department. if you can't find a job apply here

    Cons

Out dated sales tactics, stereotyping, lack of emotional intelligence, no shared focus, Leadership is guided but lacks the fundamentals, in the box sales mentality.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to stop lying to their employees and improve the culture of the office. Have a shared focus instead of typical sales slime.

    Cons

Terrible leads, lots of preassure and fear for your job, employee favoritism generates low morale.

    Advice to Management

Need to run ads in your markets to generate intrest and sales.
Treat everyone fairly and with respect.
