I have been working at Efinancial full-time

    Pros

Fun environment that you can wear jeans and a T-shirt to work everyday.
In first year of sales you can easily make 60k-80k.
You are able to feel good about helping people protect their families and still make good money doing it.
They pay for all your licensing.

    Cons

The training period is actually a position you need to work yourself out of. You could be in "training" for one month (if they like you and you're already licensed) or up to 4 or 5 months I've seen sometimes. There are no metrics on getting promoted, they only tell you "keep you numbers up" which is basically saying, "we'll get to you when we get to you".
There is favoritism and politics in terms of things people get away with but if you keep you head down, do your job, and don't get caught up in any of the drama, you can make some good money.

    Advice to Management

Be more honest with your employees. Don't say one thing and do another.

I worked at Efinancial full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A pretty good amount of quality leads coming in which is ideal.

    Cons

Not many products to sell, management is terrible/idiots... None of them have sold so they have no clue how to manage anyone.

    Advice to Management

Get on the floor and sell for at least a few weeks so you know what the agents are dealing with.

A lot of the sales teams are some of the dumbest people I've ever met.

I have been working at Efinancial full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Over the many years I've worked for the company, it's been nothing but positive. The company has shown consistent growth and is definitely the leader of innovation in the Insurance space.
There is definitely room to grow and develop professionally within the company. Efinancial is a company that is full of great people starting at the top / down, and is truly a place I could see myself spending my entire career at.

    Cons

I would really have to stretch to think of something negative...

I have been working at Efinancial full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

great co-workers and staff, fun environment,

    Cons

have to pay for parking, scheduling & teams change to much, to many recycled leads, out of pocket expense for getting licensed if you don't pass on the first try, ramp up period is not much,

    Advice to Management

Be up front about direction of the company and how you will get there. Set guide lines and rules about what is expected instead of picking and choosing what's gonna happen next. Help others succeed that are struggling instead of watching them fail.

Current Employee - Sales in Bellevue, WA

    Pros

If you work hard and prove your work ethic early, management doesn't micromanage. A good opportunity for making substantial income. Very nice office. Efinancial spends a lot of money and time to assist their employees in business and personal growth. Atmosphere on the sales side is enjoyable and light (which is necessary for an inside sales job to keep people in good spirits ).

    Cons

Disconnect between upper level management and sales force. Having more positive sales speeches about the direction of the company without negative undertones would be much more inspiring. Some lower level management should spend time listening to their agent's calls and sit with them to help them be better at closing business. Sometimes lead sources are so bad, you can talk all day and only speak with one or two people who are insurable (that makes for a long and frustrating day). Other days, there are a lot of great leads.

    Advice to Management

    See above.

    Pros

They pay for you to be licensed in several states.

    Cons

The hourly pay is minimum wage. They always have computer issues. You have to rely on commission if you want to make a living which normally wouldn't be a problem but if you're not one of their favorites you will have to struggle with the terrible so called leads they give you

    Advice to Management

Know the products we sell in order to help employees do well. Also hire a training manager. You're not only wasting the employees time but also the companies money they spend on leads.
