    Pros

Collegiate atmosphere, very senior clients, very smart people who set a high bar and encourage you to challenge yourself

    Cons

Absolutely no way to progress from research to consultant level, poor retention of high quality people, an 'us and them' mindset despite preaching partnership

    Advice to Management

For a company that deals with talent it's a real shame they haven't figured out a way to retain theirs.

I worked at Egon Zehnder part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

GREAT people to work with, very sharp minds both in Research and Consulting. Excellent name on your resume, especially for consulting post-grad school.

    Cons

Work is total drudgery. Research is repetitive, demanding timelines, and NO path to consulting. None.

    Advice to Management

I'd try to use the top tier talent available in research, provide a path for career advancement into the ranks of consulting/partners. For a company that models itself on MBB, this is a no-brainer.

I have been working at Egon Zehnder full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Freedom to apply technical skills on projects unlike other places where someone from onsite decides what to do and what not.
    Work Life balance.
Fixed Timings (Unless there is something very urgent)
    Product based culture.
Trainings are done prior to the development on new technologies unlike other places where you are supposed to jump-in to the code without having prior knowledge.
Chance to work on different technologies and projects.
    Long term projects.

    Cons

Some of the projects are on outdated technologies which may get updated sooner or later.
Someone coming from big size firms would definitely miss TT,Pool or Xbox :)

    Pros

    Sehr nette Leute
    Sehr gutes Arbeitsklima
    Interessante Aufgaben

    Cons

Kein Kontra, nur eine Info: man kann, soweit ich weiß, nicht vom Research ins Consulting wechseln, da Praxiserfahrung in der Industrie notwendig ist.
