Outstanding employee experience
Feb 25, 2023 - Administrative Assistant in Mountain View, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
True concern for work life balance.
Cons
Could offer higher salary range.

Pros
There is a lot of talking about ECH growing and I am concerned that the soul of ECH could get lost with that. When I became a nurse in 2002 I turned down 4 other offer's (all with sign-on bonuses) to work at ECH without a sign-on bonus because the warmth of the people around me was palpable and I could feel how happy everyone was. I hope that continues although I feel it slipping away and the management (which is directed from higher up) is starting to feel more and more like Sutter Health. Patient's even seem to think we are owned by Sutter Health which isn't true, but I think that is a good barometer if the patient's are picking up on the same vibe I am.
Cons
Please see above as I covered both good and bad.

My Short Time at The Hospital
Oct 20, 2022 - Administrative Assistant in Mountain View, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great facility with mostly nice staff members who have been welcoming.
Cons
Many dysfunctional departments with some form of drama and perceived favoritism. Poor training process and lack of accountability for failures which appear to start with leadership not making the effort to improve communication and/or modernize their tools and ways of working to create a seamless process and team environment. Too many things noticeably not in sync.
