    Pros

Serious and stable company with a traditional thinking policy

    Cons

Politic is a must if you want to improve. It all will depend on who is supporting you. It has nothing to do with your real fulfillment

    Advice to Management

Take care of the real potential of the people working in the company. Usually the people stay in the company for very long time. They should have to be taken into account even if the times are changing.

I worked at El Corte Inglés (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people to work with. Very motivated and professional workforce. Really enjoyed the time i worked there as everyone helped each other in order to better develop the team.
Time schedule was very flexible and allowed to work around my university schedule and exams.
I had a really great time and kind of miss when i look back.

    Cons

Not really a con but level of professionalism must be high so no messing around is allowed. You must be helpful and cordial to everyone unlike in other supermarkets where you just hang around with you smartphone in hand and don't speak to anyone. You're posture and behavior is judge in order to keep a clean and professional image of the workforce.
In the end its kind of motivating to elevate you standard and become better at what you do!

    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

People who only know the stores but not the company behind the scenes may think you work at a good place.

    Cons

    Forget about occupational safety.
-While I worked there there was a fire next door and our entire floor was covered in smoke: alarms and sprinklers did not go off.
-A ventilation grid fell from the ceiling and it was obvious nobody had dusted or cleaned for at least 10 years.

    Advice to Management

Get a proper HR department, instead of just a bunch of people to hire and fire employees.
