    Pros

They give people with a background a chance . Those people always seem to work the hardest

6 day a week your lucky if you can get a weekend off, you never get 40 hours unless your a manager

I have been working at El Super full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get at least 36 to 37 hours a week. Get paid weekly.

    Cons

They use you. They hire you for one postion, then they decide to jump you around in different departments where payment is different and the company still just pays you the minimum. You only get one day off. Work every holiday. No one gets opportunities to grow you have to be liked not a hard worker.

    Advice to Management

See who is actually working really hard.
Don't use people and if people are being used to work in different departments at least offer them a better position or tell them your doing great job something so simple.

I worked at El Super full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Weekly pay, as in every job some of the workers are friendly, position is fairly easy, schedule is ready every friday at 3pm on the dot

    Cons

Expect to work 6 days with only 5 or 6 hrs each day, only work here if you have an open schedule, lack of proper training, If you have no kitchen experience don't work for this position they expect you to know everything already

    Advice to Management

    Proper training to new comers

I worked at El Super full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

None. No training. No English. I was expected to stock the freezer which was 36 degrees on my first day as a cashier. I had no jacket. The manger said if I didn't do it I couldn't be a cashier. I walked out!

    Cons

Pretty much everything. Management sucks and makes threats.

    Advice to Management

Train for what you hire someone for and do not threaten them!!!

I have been working at El Super full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There was nothing good about working. For el super. When i requested personal info i was denied the right to have it by tge director and Hr

    Cons

I was told that they didn't have to pay me my vacation time when leaving the company because in Arizona they dont do it . The store director jose guerrero from store 53 had no respect for the employees who worked hard everyday, there's no communication between managers and the rest of the employees. The director is very rude,if they treated people with respect Maybe the store would have more than 2 cashiers per shift . This company doesn't like paying overtime, the system is messed up they keep you under 40 hours and you work 6 days a week 6 or 7 hours a day.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees with honesty and respect

I have been working at El Super full-time

    Pros

Office building and for the most part nice people

    Cons

I would not work here unless you know Spanish. No growth or learning opportunities. Poor management leadership. Manual processes. Pay is average. Management is not interested in growing you. You will be stuck doing the same thing over and over again. Not a good culture. Would not recommend
