    Pros

Good benefits, no stock option through. Nice desk. I can find some good worker there but there are lot of bad one too.

    Cons

No promotion for years even if you tried to work hard yourself. No training for you to upgrade your knowledge even through you prove yourself. VPs and Directors are not working. They talk more to get money for themselves to spend whatever they want. They also hire their family and friends even these people are not qualify for the job. If you be nice with boss, you will keep the job.

    Advice to Management

Be fair, be honest. Stop spending the company money for your own uses. You guys have everything from Iphone to expensive lunch, dinner, nice trips on company dollars. You should treat employees better with nice hearts.

    Pros

benefits and the people I worked with. Meeting were not mundane and the patients and nursing side were presented well.Territory was a reasonable size and manageable. The salary was reasonable for industry standard. The first layer of managers were top notch. Group got along very well and shared ideas with each other.

    Cons

Lack of product support, lack of knowledge in the crohns arena. Did not provide sales reps with adequate information to sell the product. Lagged behind the competitors in patient information. Did not project sales numbers properly. unable to target key physicians. Payed and trained speakers that did not utilize the companies products

    Advice to Management

Take better care of your next dedicated sales force

    Pros

compensation and benefits are good. company is still small enough that you feel that you have some sort of impact with your work.

    Cons

organization is a mess... two rounds of layoffs and a transition of AIP (that pulled employees working on it) to another company without further reductions to the pipeline results in more work for everyone with no retention incentives. Furthermore, the transition is messy and poorly worked out. I've seen employees break their contracts over how this place is run and there are many of us that don't really care anymore.

In my particular area, career/professional growth is limited and only possible when a position ahead of you is vacated. Even then, there is a limit to what you learn... I will do most of the same things I am doing now through my next 2 or 3 promotions. Any knowledge growth can only be achieved through a lateral move to a different position.

Upper management is disconnected with the business.

    Advice to Management

please realize that you can't cut/lose people without cutting projects. we know that the pipeline is thin after the transition but it's not a good idea to cut people without cutting the workload.
