Senior Patient Access Representive
I’m looking for advice from a hospital (lab) biller. My young adult daughter just so happen to finally open her mail and she found out that she could go into collections but she has 10 days. I just don’t know when the 10 days start or end it doesn’t really say but they billed it to the wrong blue Cross they build it to the state that we live in but it’s out of state so it didn’t get to my insurance as a claim . She can’t pay partial like in good faith. It needs to be in full. $700

I worked for a company for almost five years going from billing dept. to HR. I am now a program director for an adult day care under the same boss. I asked for a raise before being “promoted” to program director, and was denied. My pay was raised by $2 for the new position. My social worker at the ADC left for two months & I asked for a raise since I was doing work for 2 people now, and was denied again. It’s a super toxic workplace. What’s the best course of action?

Autonomy. Working with the physicians
Lack of support and management, higher caseloads and constant staff turnover, lack of ability to move up in the company compensatory wise, constant talk about budget being the most important, lack of raisesElara Caring Response2w

Great team, dedicated, educated, experienced nurses and staff. Good pay. HQ seems to listen to nurse concerns for charting fixes.
Oasis charting system has too many duplicate entries and lacks data driven info for education and next visit steps, and HQ is too slow to improve charting. You would need to click very deep through the chart in different places to locate last visit education status (it’s manual entry so there’s no chart or table deliverable to show you patient comprehension status) to aid in focusing next visit and there’s no auto populate on things to do for next visit from your current visit charting - but it’s a requirement to have legitimate next visit needs noted for audit.Elara Caring Response4mo

The office staff were friendly and professional.
The training was almost nonexistent. The staff contained at least one bully who created hostility in the work environment, and though management was aware, it was allowed to go on. There was poor communication and slow response when help was needed.1Elara Caring Response5mo
