    Pros

Most of the employees at Eldred Wheeler very dedicated to the company and quite proud of the product that they produced.

    Cons

Their ERP system was not that strong and their IT systems needed to be upgraded, this sometimes made tasks take longer than they should have had they had stronger systems in place.

    Advice to Management

Alwasy stay true to the company's heritige while finding a way to embrace new systems and technologies into the firm.

I worked at Eldred Wheeler part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Customers are great, patient even with production not even getting close to creating their orders. They leave large deposits on the promise and don't realize the company is not the same as in its past.

    Cons

Owners are not honest in multiple areas. While working on many sales, owner sent email blasts to client list in a 10 days, "Clearance Sale" "Warehouse 2 Closing Sale" "Closing Norwell Store" and Then emailed within a days a "$50 or 100 off coupon" and then the , "$100 off for sales under $1000 and $300 off for sales over 1001" ... So many email blast to the same list, the signals to all made sales go south, customers read RUN! Owner did it all on his only.

    Advice to Management

STAY OFF ELECTRONICS AFTER A FEW and ESP. AFTER 9pm! Actually come into the company at 6 am with the crew and MANAGE. STAY THE WHOLE DAY AND WORK, listen to your customers vs paying for customer service for 6 weeks then "laying off" the people who have saved many cancellations. PAY FOR WOOD so production can produce and close the sales vs moving sales to your private account so to buy vacation home. Especially, STOP BOUNCING CHECKS to vendors!! Driving the delivery truck and pretending to be a delivery man to collect the undeclared cash is just sad.

    Pros

    Co workers were nice enough.

    Cons

High change over rate with employees. Questionable business ethics, Awful customer service. ( and that's coming from someone who worked for the company). The owener is overly hands on and doesn't have a clue what he's doing. The product produced is nice, way overpriced and the fulfillment rate is laughable (that's if you don't get sick of waiting and cancel your order).
