I have been working at Electric Guard Dog full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Jason Bessire and Sharon Cousar from Bessire and Associates provided an exceptional onboarding experience. Sharon Cousar was different from other recruiters during the entire process. I truly felt encouraged by her keen ability to immediately connect and “go to work” as a personal cheerleader for my future success. I was specifically impressed by Sharon’s consistent attitude, approach to business, and commitment to “me.” Jack DeMao provides all the tools for his associates to be successful, and the management are passionate about building a game-changing experience for their customers. They live Electric Guard Dog’s guiding principles of:

    • Customer Service
    • Teamwork
    • Individual Excellence
    • Integrity
    • Safety
    • Frugality

    Cons

The length of time from the initial phone-screen to offer letter is about 90 days. This ensures Electric Guard Dog selects the best.

    Advice to Management

Continue doing exactly what you are doing!

I have been working at Electric Guard Dog full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This company really cares about the future of the company and the employees. We plan to triple our customer base in the next few years but will still keep customer service as our number 1 focus. Also, the company really compensates employees for hard work. You work hard and they take care of you!

    Cons

Company is growing rapidly so training is happening very fast for new employees to jump in and get started. I believe this is more of a con than a pro, but this site required a con to be written.

    Pros

A relaxed, but professional atmosphere with supportive management and coworkers, tremendous growth potential, and an established, loyal customer base. The company has demonstrated a willingness to identify issues and problems and to implement changes when needed, that I truly appreciate.

    Cons

The job requires you to be a self starter and capable of working independently. The benefits package could be improved, however it is better then many places I have worked at before.

    Advice to Management

Management is doing a great job, so just continue on the path your on.

    Pros

One of the fastest growing security companies in the US. From day 1 you are supported as needed, where needed. The initial "on-board" training is well thought out and second to none. The structure of the organization allows for 100% access to all employees. Sales Tools & Toys provided to ensure that you are successful in the territory. GREAT product with service & support to back it up in the field.

    Cons

Travel policies could be a little more flexible. Grant more decision authority to field sales.
