I worked at Electronic Payment Systems (EPS) full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great company and people! Evolving away from old merchant services sales methods and poor levels of customer service to state of the art lead generation, competitive services, and excellent customer service.

    Cons

Limited resources and willingness to make investments to expand business and digital marketing services. Upper management does not understand the difference between sales and marketing.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Electronic Payment Systems (EPS) full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Fast paced and ever changing, merchant services is never boring. All of my fellow employees are super helpful and we all work well together. Management in all departments is solid, these people know what they're doing and how to manage their departments to meet their full potential.

    Cons

Merchant services is always changing, once you figure out one terminal it seems like there is a new one coming in that you have to master.

    Advice to Management

I would say a little bit more organization in a training schedule. There is so much to go over as quickly as possible that it makes training a bit erratic.

I have been working at Electronic Payment Systems (EPS) full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Fun environment, casual setting, friendly people. Fast paced and always changing- never boring, always something to keep you busy. Employees are great at team work and thinking outside the box to overcome bumps in the road. everyone in management positions has put in great time ( over 5 years) and effort in knowing the industry on many levels.

    Cons

We see so many people come in with no work ethic, so it has a higher turn over than expected.

    Advice to Management

Longer training periods for new employees will work wonders on the high employee (call center) turnover. Provide additional ways for management to advance in their current positions.

The employees are great, and they really care about each other. The work environment is very pleasent. The hours are good.

    Cons

It may be difficult to adapt being new. The pay periods are different. The location could be better. It's not a bad place.

    Advice to Management

Keep taking care of your employees!

I worked at Electronic Payment Systems (EPS) full-time

    Pros

After you do your time, so to speak, you get much more freedom. Health insurance isn't great, but it's covered in full. Can be very generous at times.

    Cons

Lots of verbal abuse and mind games. Ownership is completely bipolar. Tough to keep employees with all of the constant negativity and (literal) screaming. Daily threats to shut the business down. Constant legal battles. Pay is sub par and working conditions are abysmal.

    Advice to Management

Do your business a favor and stay away. Sit back and collect your outlandish salaries and let your managers do what needs to be done in order to be successful.

    Pros

EPS is a fun and energetic atmosphere to work in. I genuinely enjoy coming to work everyday. The leadership here is amazing, and I look forward to what the future with this company holds for me.

    Cons

The standards are a bit high as far as outbound calls go especially when you are swamped with inbound calls.

    Advice to Management

I believe you have it together pretty well, keep up the good communication and this company will continue running smooth....
