I have been working at Elegran Real Estate as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Elegran was an exciting, dynamic company to intern for. There was something new to learn everyday and the demands of the internship program kept me active with things to do. Everyone here is absolutely amazing — they are great coworkers and wonderful teachers, both about tasks and life lessons. There's no professional yet fun office environment like Elegran.

    Cons

It will be sad when you leave! The people at the office are wonderful.

    Cons

Too much of the workforce is interns.

I have been working at Elegran Real Estate full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Elegran is an incredible family of colleagues all supporting one another. A true gem in this fast-paced, "cut-throat" industry. The sales floor is dynamic and full of helpful information. Senior sellers are eager to have you join them in their showings and represent the brand at open house sales galleries/previews etc. The training was very comprehensive and a fantastic first introduction into luxury Manhattan real estate.

    Cons

So much to do with so little time!

    Advice to Management

Keep on creating the happy and successful environment you do for us salespeople. Much appreciated!

    Pros

Interesting and rewarding training during the internship, pleasant and welcoming team, great working atmosphere. A good company to learn about luxury real estate thanks to all dynamic agents and managers. Marketing support is amazing and really useful! Great firm and great people.

    Cons

Open space - can be noisy at some moments during the day.

    Advice to Management

Keep conviviality and good atmosphere in the company, it is pleasant every morning to come to work!

    Pros

Having a career that makes you excited to get out of bed everyday is a rarity, even more so when you enjoy the company of others around you.

Work, just as in life, is not without it's growing pains. One of the benefits of working with Elegran is the overwhelming support you receive coming into the business as a new agent.

There is always someone to call for advice, day or night and the training is first class.

    Cons

It can sometimes be hard to concentrate with so much going on around you, but it's much better than having a dull work environment!

    Advice to Management

Continue the discussion on modernizing the cubicles.

I worked at Elegran Real Estate as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

What you apply for is what you get — absolutely no games are played in the area. You write for and about different topics in real estate and architecture so the voice of your articles do vary, a worthwhile exercise.

Definitely a great, diverse community and there are occasional group outings, a great way to further develop workplace understanding.

    Cons

You're only getting experience, which is great, but a little money should be offered rather than the reimbursement. Earning money via an office job in itself has some value for someone in college or just starting out.

    Advice to Management

It's worth considering: If pay is ever possible, and if an intern signs up for three months initially, but upon the end of those three months decides to stay for half a year, the offer of pay (rather than reimbursement), should also come up.

It doesn't have to be said at the start of the internship, only when the intern comes forth and says they want to extend for three more months. And naturally, it would be per article for Elegran.

    Pros

Great atmosphere. Whilst working at Elegran you will have amazing colleagues who will be happy to help you whenever you want. Interns are welcomed greatly, and once you have to leave the company you will surely miss everybody!
Colleagues are open to answer any questions, as long as you let them see you want to learn something. Conversations are always great, not only business wise but also on a personal level.

    Cons

There aren't that much opportunities for a 3-month internship because it's just not enough time to actually matter in the business of the company. I'm sure this is a general problem for short term internships though...

    Advice to Management

Don't hire too many interns because there isn't always too much work to do. Furthermore, keep the atmosphere as it is, it truly is a young and vibrant company which is a pleasure to work at!

I have been working at Elegran Real Estate as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Constanr creation of content. SEO practices.

    Cons

Some articles are published anonymously. There is little to no interaction with other coworkers within the company. There is minimal trust between supervisors and interns. Interns seen as disposable. Employees are too comfortable and are not open to change. There is not much to learn.

    Advice to Management

The work environment lacks the effort to create a supportive and safe place for coworkers and interns alike to intermingle and feel accepted. There is a lack of positive communication, with most of all talking done online. Interns feel pushed aside and not taken seriously, and a lack of trust is apparent.

I worked at Elegran Real Estate as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Interning at Elegran Real Estate last summer was a great experience. The culture was relaxed yet professional, and allowed for easy communication with the managers. The interns were given a great deal of responsibility and training, and the managers seemed to care about us. They never made us feel like we were "interns" and we were encouraged to become involved with every aspect of the organization.

    Cons

I do not have many cons about Elegran. My only suggestion or con would be that I would have preferred an hourly salary rather than stipend.

    Advice to Management

You are the best. Keep up the good work.

Professional and approachable co-workers (lots of wonderful people)
Adequate freedom and responsibility, no micro-management
    Flexible hours
    Plenty of room for advancement
    Great for networking

    Advice to Management

Continue to grow the internship program
    Keep up the great work!
