    I worked at Elements Massage

    Pros

Free monthly massage, mostly nice coworkers

    Cons

No room for growth, no benefits, no incentives to stay with the company. Manager at this location completely lacks integrity, constantly interrupts others, self absorbed and RUDE to clients.

I have been working at Elements Massage part-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Free massages, not a serious job so you don’t have to feel bad for calling off even though they will try to guilt trip you.

    Cons

Owners can get crazy after their “honey moon” phase of opening. High front desk turnover, low pay, and no benefits

    Advice to Management

If it’s snowing, don’t give them a hard time for valuing their safety. Give them a hard time for calling off on random days.

I worked at Elements Massage full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

friendly clients, tips were good, decent atmosphere, events with chair massage pay better than anything. 90 day evaluations usually end up with raises (depending on your client reviews) till you reach the ceiling of what they are willing to give.

      Cons

Horrible Mangament, went through two managers in 6 months. Owner lacked knowledge of everything from business to massage, pressure to sell memberships, lack of appreciation for all employees. Management also pinned MTs against one another to "compete" for bonuses which ended up with a upset and bitter staff. Last thing would be you can't move in the company. No benefits; You...

I worked at Elements Massage full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Flexible hours, convenient location, interaction with diverse clientele, salary was decent, good learning experience, room for some growth, friendly front desk staff

      Cons

There are no benefits offered, massage therapists can be trying to work with, franchise owners expect more than is possible from management at times

      Advice to Management

Check in on franchise owners more often, have meetings with management of individual locations without the owners present

I have been working at Elements Massage

      Pros

a good part time job for a student

      Cons

this is not a job you want to make a living with..each Elements is a franchise so they are all individually owned..they do not treat their workers well. The pay is not good. They hire you saying that there is a chance for raises but you can work your butt off 24/7 like i did for 6 months, pick up shifts/come in early and cover for people yet still nothing. they make you feel guilty. a huge con is that there is no...

      I worked at Elements Massage

      Pros

Enjoyed seeing and talking to many of the clients.

      Cons

Low pay , no breaks from sitting at desk. (You even eat your lunch at the desk) You are promised wonderful bonuses on selling memberships , they are very low. No chance for advancement , no benefits. Manager has a very nasty attitude , needs to get off her high horse! Will promote nasty behavior from certain employees.

      Advice to Management

Get off your high horse and treat employees with decency, treat all the same.
