    I worked at Elements Massage

    Pros

Free monthly massage, mostly nice coworkers

    Cons

No room for growth, no benefits, no incentives to stay with the company. Manager at this location completely lacks integrity, constantly interrupts others, self absorbed and RUDE to clients.

I have been working at Elements Massage full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Individually owned, so each studio has freedom Amazing team Free massages Awesome client base Great part time work, or temporary Relaxing environment

    Cons

Pay is too low Have to meet monthly sales goals No room for growth

    Advice to Management

Pay more. They do a lot of work to keep your whole studio running, your clients coming back, and member base high.

I have been working at Elements Massage part-time

    Pros

Flexibility with schedule, great management& team, benefits (401k, after 1 year vacation PTO, liability insurance renewal), higher pay than other franchise companies like Massage Envy/Hand& Stone, higher gratuity guides, most importantly all supplies are provided for you and you don't have to stay after your shift to do laundry. This is such a treat! Thank you to the SCSS team for all you do!

    Cons

No incentives, limited room for growth, clients are scheduled back to back& at times you may feel rushed especially if you have a 60 min. massage and a prenatal or Himalayan hot stone right after.

    Advice to Management

This is more suited for the owners: More culture outings would be nice, I believe in order to build a successful team it is important to get to know one another!

I worked at Elements Massage full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Was always busy and rarely had an empty shift, therefore I learned a lot. Mandatory monthly massages was really helpful for a new therapist. My coworkers were nice and supportive.

    Cons

The pay was horrible, very little room for growth, and toxic management. Incredibly difficult to get time off or shift coverage.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees as more than profit horses.

I worked at Elements Massage part-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Free massage per month. Employees are nice.

    Cons

Compensation. $5 x member which seems like a good amount until you get told that you have to wait 2 months for that $5 & they have to stay a member, also other Elements pay more for member & pay higher for membership level. Owners are very unprofessional, unorganized and cheap. They hire good staff and annoy them until they quit. It seems to be a hard concept to understand that some people just do not want to become...

I have been working at Elements Massage part-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Working the front desk makes a good part-time job to make some extra money. It's definitely not a career opportunity since there is no room for growth unless you want to become a Franchise Owner. You get monthly free massages and 30 min training massages to try out the different therapists to learn their style so that you can match the client to the proper therapist. Depending on the franchisee owner of the location...

    Cons

No benefits including health, dental, etc. Basically have to get it on your own. No paid vacation or sick days Hourly pay No big bonuses No room for growth
