I worked at Elizabeth Arden part-time

    Pros

Incredible team and welcoming work environment. Interesting projects, that included working with PR and marketing. The overall atmosphere was good.

    Cons

Undortunately, they went through an acquisition at the time. Many people were seeking other jobs. That limited the scope of supervision. It also made the environment tense, at times.

I worked at Elizabeth Arden part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent work-life balance. Learned a lot over almost 20 years of employment. Sorry that my career there had to end.

    Cons

Only that they were acquired by Revlon and most employees lost their jobs. HR did not do a very good job of communicating during the transition.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Elizabeth Arden full-time

    Pros

It was a wonderful place to work. People are very friendly and really care about the Company doing well. You definitely drink the Kool-Aid. It has since been bought by Revlon but hopefully the spirit of the company continues.

    Cons

The pay is ok - standard for the industry but less than you would make at bigger CPGs.

    Pros

Promotes Family, fair benefits, good holidays

    Cons

Office politics dictate a lot. You can be really valuable and do good work but if you don't mingle with the office politics you won't get far

    Advice to Management

Promote employee growth with outside conferences and training

I worked at Elizabeth Arden full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits- 401k matching, decent health benefits

    Cons

Coworkers were more than capable and very helpful. However, it was otherwise a toxic work environment where certain VPs use condescension and manipulation instead of leadership and mentorship. You are expected to increase your workload significantly without any payoff due to high turnover with no replacement employees. Did not feel appreciated or heard at all. Lack of organization and real strategy- direction changed all the time and at the last minute. Similarly to a previous review... have heard people being literally yelled at.

    Advice to Management

When multiple employees come to you with legitimate and consistent feedback, please actually hear them out and take steps to improve.

    Pros

Very nice products and a put together uniform

    Cons

You do not get gratis and the products are so expensive but they want you to wear them but they do not pay you well enough. It's hard when you work part time and you can't get the products. Every other counter alllll employees get gratis.

    Advice to Management

Give employees products to use to be better brand embassadors. It's hard to sell when you are not wearing it
