    Pleasant work environment.
    Good culture.
    Awesome co-workers.
We all believe in the mission.
Teamwork - all of my co-workers are team players and are collaborative.
Management cares, listens and is open to new ideas.
    Lots of growth potential.
    Flexibility.
Assisting with patients and their families.

    Cons

Lots of cultural change, but it is for the better. Just buckle down in the meantime.
Service area is all of SD County and SW Riverside County, so prepare for driving.

    Advice to Management

Continue making positive changes. We need it. You have awesome staff members who care. Don't forget to reward them.

I have been working at Elizabeth Hospice part-time

    Pros

I don't see any pros working with this company. I'm hanging in there till I find a better place to work.

    Cons

They micromanage you and the people doing the schedules are not qualified to do them. They give the positions to people who do not have the qualifications but who have been working there for years. They cheat you on your mileage as they pay only once per month at the lowest amount. Expected to see a large amount of patients and driving almost an hour distance in between each visits and still doing it in 8hr shift as overtime becomes a penalty. It is not a welcoming work environment and it is sad due to the nature of job we do.

    Advice to Management

Be more appreciative of your field employees. Make sure you have people with the right credentials leading your Team.

I have been working at Elizabeth Hospice full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Staff are professional, experienced, dedicated to the work and the needs of the patients and their families and focused on the heart-based mission of the agency. The leadership team is effective, committed, willing to consider new ways of doing things and genuinely cares about the employees. The overall compensation package is generous, including competitive pay, generous PTO offering and mileage reimbursement, robust benefit plans and competitive 401(k) match and flexible schedules.

    Cons

The occasional need to for extra driving, but they offer excellent mileage reimbursement.

    Pros

There were nice colleagues who worked there. They are gone now.

    Advice to Management

new leadership is needed. Cronyism in an age of transparency is not an attractive trait.
