    Pros

Beautiful hotel very nice outdoor space restaurant had all the potential in the world but was full of staff that had no interest in their current employment

I worked at Embassy Suites full-time

    Pros

If hotel occupancy is over 96 or 98% you get paid out by the ACT
They feed you in the morning
    They pay overtime

    Cons

    Managers kinda suck
    Will talk behind your back
Do not make friends there they will talk behind your back and wait until you get fired.
NOT to be racist but if you weren't Spanish or spoke it...youre the odd man out
Accounting team was a joke. They need to retire
HR will not have your back.
They will have emails about you for days weeks and not tell you anything.

    Advice to Management

Please keep people in the loop and show PROOF of what they did

I worked at Embassy Suites full-time

    Pros

    Hotel is beautiful and spacious

    Cons

After being employed only a month when came time to be paid my card wouldn't let me activate it. So after the run around all day. I was told by HR that my check had been deposited into an account that did not belong to me. Was told I'd get it when I get it basically. And then fired

    Advice to Management

Great place to work wish I could have my job still..But the issue with payroll is awful. And the lack of concern and care about the pay issue from managers needs to change

I worked at Embassy Suites full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hilton Discount, Employees, Employee Discounts, Some Incentive, Programs

    Cons

Hours, Management, Salary, Atmosphere, Payroll, HR

    Advice to Management

Management was way too caught up on making sure they were comfortable at work while passing on their duties to the underpaid employees which did more work than them at the end of the day. Also, didn't feel there was ANY room for growth. Management company was also horrible and did not care for their employees at all. Working here means missing out on your personal life because the job will consume every inch of your being.

I have been working at Embassy Suites full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The hilton benefits are great even if you are not full time. Pto hours are great.

    Cons

The place doesn't pay well so it's hard to keep quality employees

    Advice to Management

Need to evaluate the money they offer and realize that they need to be more competitive in order to be successful.

I worked at Embassy Suites full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Hotel benefits, free lunch cards per month.

    Cons

Low beginners pay, even with previous hotel experience. High turnover rate. Difficult to receive vacation time off.

    Advice to Management

Use the revenue that you have to hire and KEEP great employees. Many employees too overworked for such little pay. The turnover rate may not be so high if you appreciated your employees more via pay and benefits.
