    terrible pay and management.Needs houskeeping everyday

    Pros

    Helping the elderly is always amazing. but really there was not much else. I guess pay was ok but nothing that you can live on long term.

    Cons

    Everything, the drama is high, people always fighting, no upper support, constant issues with family and people no communicating with eachother. Its a nighmare

    GET BETTER HOURS

    Eleven miles from my house.

    Rules and policies kept changing all the time.

    Stop protecting certain nurses.

    Wonderful work experience, very rewarding population to work with, a great foot in the door

    Cons

    Very low pay for head of department and part of management
    Expected to work all holidays and weekends, no work life balance
    Given a lot of responsibilities that are outside of your department

    Value your employees and what they do. At least try to help them succeed and give them guidance and support.

    I worked at Emeritus Senior Living (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Working to improve the lives of senior citizens can be very rewarding. Most of the other employees were pleasant to work with and. Overall good work environment.

    Cons

    A lot of broken promises and empty encouragement. As a cook it was hard to work with such minimal and low quality products. The pay was not to satisfaction either.

    Meals available for reasonable price.

    There is no teamwork. Managers were not flexible with personal days/holiday time off.
