I worked at Emerson (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very easy going and friendly environment. The workplace is both new and completely secure.

    Cons

Management isn't very consistent team to team. Some are clock-watchers and others don't interact with their team enough.

    Advice to Management

Work should be about the content and not what time someone comes in and out. Flexibility lets workers push home life forward.

I worked at Emerson full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

By far, the benefits they offer. Profit sharing is a beautiful resource they offer.

    Cons

The pay is low. Technically, anyone working in the plant, can make more than their supervisors and Engineers starting at base salary.

    Advice to Management

Hold all employees to the same standards. By far, salary employees are treated better, and are not micro managed when it comes to being on time, or taking lunch breaks.
