    Advice to Management

    - Please respect employees Of every caliber and new joiners - Define process and share it in common folder and advice users to use this in any case of issues, don't bring new process as the need permits - please change the leadership team as they are not able to hear user concern or guide

I have been working at Emirates NBD full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great brand in the Middle East Exposure to interesting work

    Cons

Internal processes are cumbersome and impede agility Inefficiencies Lead to no work life balance. It’s not uncommon to be at the office till 9pm daily There is a hire and fire culture People are afraid to say no so they say yes to everything and deliver nothing Everyone is always late for meetings. There is no respect for anyone’s time

    Advice to Management

It’s pointless is you are preaching an Agile and technology transformation if you are not investing in a cultural and internal process transformation

    Cons

The list is endless, from in-house politics to management conflicts, training benefits and promotion are given to Indians and Arabs while the rest rot away in the same position for years.low salaries and benefits for years, its a Arab-Indian dominated atmosphere, lots of autocratic behavior and reducing minorities, not an equal opportunity employer.absolutely no work life balance.

    Advice to Management

    Shut down the company

Only brand name that might be good to be added to your CV as a step forward to move to another organization

    Cons

    - Process failure everywhere - No body cares for employees - No work life balance at all - You are always responsible while not empowered - Only you to be blamed - No ownership from other teams

    Advice to Management

    - You know the problem very well while expecting getting new employees to resolve things while they are not empowered .. how come??!!

    I worked at Emirates NBD

    Pros

Large UAE bank so good brand recognition. Otherwise cannot see many positives of working at this place.

    Cons

No work life balance. 12 hours a day, weekend working without comp-offs are expected. Discrimination based on nationality and favoritism. Even if you don't work but keep the higher ups happy, you are guaranteed a good bonus and other perks. Salary increases and promotions are virtually non-existent. Not a great place to work as employee development, career pathing, the company...

    Advice to Management

Take a leaf out of some MNC's books and invest in staff development. Provide career development opportunities to your non-local staff too as they will be the ones to teach the next generation of locals. Improve work-life balance but I suppose that would only happen if you cared about staff, which you don't.
