    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at Emmanuel College-Massachusetts full-time

    Pros

Paid time off benefit, sense of comradery amongst teammates, education benefit, commuter benefit, and the location is convenient/easily accessible.

    Cons

Shame on Emmanuel's administration for not recognizing the demoralizing leadership in the OSFS. It isn't by coincidence that several high performing employees have left in the last year. There is blatant favoritism towards the least hardworking individual on the team, rewarded with promotions while those who carry the team are met with disdain. Emmanuel you owe it to your employees to be more in touch with their mistreatment. There should be more accountability for leadership.

    Advice to Management

Interview the staff and get a realistic view of the misery they walk into on a daily basis. Don't remain comfortable with the status quo i.e. Poor leadership at the VP level.

I worked at Emmanuel College-Massachusetts (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Everyone in the IT Dept is welcoming and patient
The team is professional and knowledgeable
Good work-life balance for a student just starting out
    Flexibility in scheduling
Great place to pick up loads of experience

    Cons

Can be a bit understaffed it seems at times during peak season.
Compensation was average, a bit lower for IT, but this is the Education sector.
