    Pros

Supportive company but fell victim to marketplace realities and demise of print publishing.

    Pros

Was provided autonomy from parent company in producing a sister publication for Los Angeles magazine. Resources and funding was more than adequate and the staff was given the best of a start-up within a corporate entity.

    Cons

Company was a bit slow to evolve with the digital migration of publishing and eventually hurt the new magazine in growing its business. Because its radio division was also vulnerable, the publishing division was under quite a bit of scrutiny with its revenue.

    Cons

Not much to do. Didn't really learn any skill sets.
