I have been working at Emoov full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I enjoy the freedom to work from anywhere and go into the office a couple of days a week. Everyone is new and motivated and excited to relaunch the business. High energy, supportive atmosphere, start up vibe, everyone communicates via Slack and is going at a fast pace as we all learn the ropes. I like that there is a lot of room for initiative and trust to do what you do best.

    Cons

The fast moving start up vibe may not be for everyone.

I worked at Emoov full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible Working Hours, Very fast growing company so potential for promotion is good, however they reward that by paying you less.

    Cons

The company is based upon lies, you never know when they might change something or throw you out the door!

As a local property Agent you will have to compete with there newly merged tepilo, where business will be stolen from their internal sales team, ( in short you are only paid once you instruct a house, but quite often your going to houses already signed up by tepilo, making it a complete waste of your time) I believe it’s more cost affective for them as a business to do this although they will deny this happens!

You will receive no structured training and be left out in the field to rely on more experienced colleagues to support you, if your lucky to get that surport it could work, but if not don’t count on Emoov for giving structured training.

Your package, ignore what they offer you because when it does not suit them anymore they will just change that, including reducing you wage, area ect!

If you challenge Emoov on parts of the business like I have above they will just fire you! You will Receive a phone call and your out the door regardless of the efforts or performance you put in!

Unlike other online models their is no financial surport if you fail to make a wage yet they call you an employee.

They also don’t pay you for any holiday taken, they just expect to earn more than the minimum wage per month and count that as holiday being paid.

    Advice to Management

Some management clearly believe in the model and are really passionate, one particular manger recently promoted a couple of months ago really needs to learn how to manage and lead from the top, his management style will be to belittle you, and you can never quite do enough! No positivity of encouragement comes from him. My advice is simple get rid of him, all the current staff don’t like his approach, however the manager above him seems a fair and very positive manager but to tied down with the bigger parts of the business.

I worked at Emoov full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Smart people willing to work hard. Sales team very kind and hardwork. Some people from top management nice to work with.

    Cons

Constantly changing the drive and bad prospects. Fake promises and non sense targets. The whole structure is messed up from top-down level.

    Advice to Management

Start caring about members of staff and stop with favoritism.

I have been working at Emoov full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people to work with. I would highly recommend. Positive, motivational team in each department. Everyone is there for each other if you need anything. Great career progression opportunities. Varied roles within the company. The CEO is brilliant, he comes into the office to meet all employees. There is a family like environment within the company. I couldn't recommend more. Hard work is recognised amongst the management team and appreciation is given where due on a daily basis.

    Cons

You will miss the team when you are not there. You become so close knit with each other that you miss the team on your days off.

    Pros

Emoov provides a fun, relaxed, happy environment to work. Everyone is hard working and wants the company to move from strength to strength and the great culture creates an amazing atmosphere. The company has provided me with amazing career progression opportunities for which I am so grateful. Everyone gets on so well from customer facing staff to senior management, even the CEO which enables healthy transparency throughout the company. Coffee mornings, breakfast mornings and evening drinks keeps everyone motivated to work hard and enjoy coming to work.

    Cons

None for me personally but for some the face paced environment and company growth can be demanding on your time and may require flexible hours.

    Advice to Management

Company meetings/stands should be more frequent so that everyone can be informed of changes and have their say more regularly.

I have been working at Emoov full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Family feel, fun, challenging in a good way, always busy, no day is ever the same. The field of estate agency is a complex one, and on-line estate agency brings a whole new aspect. eMoov is still in it's infancy really and I believe that the staff here enjoy being a part of something that is changing and challenging the status quo.

    Cons

No real downsides - you need to like being busy to work at eMoov and be prepared to get involved. Every day brings something new...which can be a challenge but there is always support available.

    Advice to Management

Staff here relish being a part of new developments, training, new opportunities and a lively atmosphere. Staff meetings, catch ups and pep talks are highly valued at eMoov.
