Pros
There is so much potential in the company. Really excited and motivated by both the very talented people that the company has brought in and big ambitions that the company has.
Cons
Nothing bad to say so far. It has been a positive experience so far and I am looking forward to the journey that I am certain that the company will take.
Advice to Management
Keep on doing what your doing. If anything I would say bring different departments together a bit tighter.

Pros
-Some staff genuinely care about the business -Majority of staff know about the cons below and have begun to rally around in support of each other which makes the experience more tolerable -The business was started with a genuine vision by the founder
Cons
-Senior management entirely made up of salespeople who favour chat and flash over hard work and action -Demand loyalty and trust from staff but give none of it back -Employees are treated like nappies- you will be used up and thrown in the bin when they are done -Highest staff turnover of any business I have ever seen -You are a number on a spreadsheet- your only worth to the people in charge is how much... profit you can make them -Sick days are not tolerated -Robotic attitude to business in which senior staff think they can judge people's full worth do the business based on data points and profit margins -Once heard of a senior staff member publicly say (about a loyal member of staff that had stayed at the company for two years). "She'll stay here and do whatever we want until we don't need her anymore and we tell her to leave."

Stop staring at spreadsheets and use a bit of intuition into developing, training and encouraging staff. Not everyone responds well to negative reinforcement and the threat of being fired.

Pros
Experience. This is a fast paced company, you have to learn fast, and it is good for that.
Cons
There is a huge lack of team work and tonnes of favouritism. There is a lack of professionalism, so much so that someone contacted a future employer to try and jeopardise the chances of getting a new job. eMoov are very incestuous, they employ a lot of friends, which in turn leads to favouritism; people getting bonuses or payments, or favourable opportunities due to personal relationships. The company is not... very transparent, and will do anything they can to get out of unfavourable laws unless people prove that they are legally required; such as paying 0 hours contract staff for holiday. The workload is extremely unbalanced, especially if you didn't 'grow up' with the other staff members. Also, the hours are extremely long, with 30 minute breaks, and working until 8pm, it is not convenient and people are taken advantage of; with a 'first job' salary in most of the roles too. NOT recommended; this employer to anyone, the staff turnaround, attitude and lack of future certainty is very concerning.

Consider when you employ your staff, their level of experience in working with people, or qualification when working in a role they are employed for. Also, legalities, I would probably advise that you pay as much attention to employment legalities as you do to property stamp duty.

Pros
Some colleagues were friendly, helpful and hard-working. No dress code.
Cons
Unfortunately there was a disparity of management between senior members which ultimately saw a high-turnover of staff. They staff is senior positions were not there based on merit but for "stomping their feet". 12 hour working days with only 30 mins lunch break - bordering the lines of being illegal. Unfortunately credit wasn't recognised and as soon as you made the slightest error it was showcased in front of... every member. Ultimately, this company is a shambles and the only person benefiting is the CEO whom is lining his pockets.
Show MoreAdvice to Management
Respect your colleagues, they work hard long hours and deserve recognition. Make progression clear based on merit alone. Introduce legal working hours.

Pros
The company started with a great mission showing people that an estate agency can be different, can be trustworthy, a company that cares about people. You can still find a few nice people to work with and might have the chance to learn something.
Cons
Unfortunately the leadership seems to care more about competitors loosing the original ideas and slowly becoming the same as other agencies. The leaders weren't chosen for their skills and their decisions can prove that. They are not respected by the employees.
Advice to Management
The company's image reflects the people's who work there. If you let arrogant, dishonest people make decisions, don't expect to be any better. Choose leaders with the right skills and remember your original mission.
