    Pros

Get to work with students and educators that have a passion for the industry and how the program helps towards that goal.

    Cons

"Leadership" is a "who you know not what you know" worth no self accountability to not providing adequate support to assist with production requirements. Success is based solely on Self!

    Advice to Management

    None; ownership: replace your management!

I have been working at Empire Education Group full-time

    Pros

Leadership at Empire focuses on our Core Values, which are a solid foundation. This company has a great culture of teamwork and common focus. The best part about my job is seeing the passion our students have for this industry. They are so creative and inspiring. They make work fun!

    Cons

It's a large company with schools across the US... so communication can be email based.

I worked at Empire Education Group full-time

    Pros

Very few at the time I left.

    Cons

New upper management was brought in who changed the culture from being family oriented to being cut throat and making a buck at any cost.

I worked at Empire Education Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great training. Great education. Great "core values". Provides equal opportunities for both students enrolling and potential employees

    Cons

Too many departments and managers to report to. Poor communication from the head office to the "little guys". If you are in a management position, prepare to not have a life outside of the school.

    Advice to Management

Show appreciation to upper management at the school level, whether by offering holiday bonuses, PTO, annual raises, or a simple holiday party.

  10. "CSC customer service coordinator"

Former Employee - Customer Service Coordinator in Pottsville, PA

I worked at Empire Education Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

I've got to learn a lot about the cosmetology field and the importance of a lot of things that I didn't know before. Met a lot of people, learned that the cosmetology field isn't as easy as it may look or sound, there is an abundance of book knowledge to know before becoming a licensed cometologist.

    Cons

Personally I wouldn't say "downside", maybe not so good "moments" and I say that because you MUST have a certain amount of patience to endure the position itself because you deal with different personalities/characteristics on a daily basis.

    Pros

    A check
    The weekend because your off

    Cons

    Benefits suck
    Managers are NOT qualified
    Favoritism
    All about a dollar

    Advice to Management

You need to send people in to see how the school is really operated. All of those core values mean NOTHING. They care NOTHING ABOUT STAFF OR STUDENTS.
