Love being part of the team
Apr 6, 2021 - Customer Service RepresentativeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
What I enjoy most about Empire Education is just being part of the team. Through the good times and the bad the team stays together. Everyone has a great sense of humor. Just knowing you have someone you can turn to at any point makes this job that much more enjoyable. I couldn’t be more satisfied.
Cons
People in the home office have more advancement opportunities. It’s not a deal breaker but it’s something you should know before working here.

Working with students and helping them reach their goals
Cons
Backstabbing, lying from home office, disregard valid complaints about management and over look hard work and real talent

Outstanding Educators /Curriculum, professional Career Planning Specialists committed to our student's success, with strong global leadership who created growth opportunities for those looking to make a difference! Employee benefits are competitive and the social responsibilities driven from Home office to the field is impressive! I've never seen another school system make such an impact in the communities we SERVE! We support Woman, Children and Victims of Domestic Violence, Wounded Soldier's Foundation, ASPCA, Cancer Survivors Day of Beauty, etc. Back to School Campaigns! I'm proud to say I'm a member of this organization. In an industry where trust is MOST important, I'm confident I found my 'safe' home! Work/Life balance and family center has been a great experience for me!
Cons
It's fast and furious! Classes start frequently and our Career Planning Specialist have to be excellent at multi-class/ management with very little down time! Never a dull moment! We're currently streamlining our processes, and responsibilities. This process can sometimes knock the wind out of you, but if you're here for the right reasons, you understand it's what we have to do in order to get to the other side!

An organization that is working backwards to fix their culture and infrastructure!

Good pay for administrative employees in the field. Also value driven within their home office. Drops off from there.
Cons
Numbers focused within the organization which leads to low quality of student enrollments. Some technology for educators however still very behind the times with quality systems for tracking grades, attendance etc. This leads to educators spending more time doing meanial task instead of being able to provide a quality teaching environment.

Pros
growing company even in tough economy, high integrity standards and company does "the right thing" even if it's not popular.
Cons
home office personnel and support managers have 'big fish in small pond' mentality and are not always receptive to feedback or ideas for improvement.

Growth...not a good thing for this Company!

Worked with a lot of awesome people!
Cons
More work and less pay. No raises at most levels in the company. No real focus on 'education' more focus on $$$$! Horrible communication between home office and individual schools.

Pros
The students are hungry. Opportunity to change lives. Able to express and share our passion.
Cons
Moral of educators is very low. 3rd year in a row no one has gotten a raise. Lack of support from home office to the campus level. Internal talent management is non existent.
