    Cons

not enough positions exist for future opportunities. they see most people as expandable work horses.

    Advice to Management

invest in your people just like you do for your products.

I have been working at 24/7 Real Media full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Award-winning technology, varied and diverse focus in the online realm which lends access to a large cross-section of data and much inventory
Owned by WPP which spells strong prospects for longevity

    Cons

From an investment standpoint or upper management stance, the profitability and prospects for longevity are strong.
However, as an employee who is a non-executive/not upper management, the hours are miserable, the pay is mediocre, and talented, smart people are very under appreciated.
The office culture is lacking as well. There are pizza Fridays and bagel Mondays, but that's about it. People rarely interact with one another except for certain cliques who tend to stick together. The atmosphere is very young and reminiscent of high school. While immaturity is rampant, the bureaucracy is thick and the feeling of fear and constant scrutiny is an every day reality here. People are treated as disposable napkins who are often thrown out when their utility has passed their prime or because they have angered or upset someone who is favored by upper management. Favoritism IS rampant and the organization is far from a meritocracy. The prospects for advancement are contingent upon (and I hate to say this) physical appearance and how well you are liked. Your intelligence, talent, and hard work is rarely rewarded and you are rarely told how good of a job you've done, or thanks for pulling through, but are yelled at for small and minor mistakes.
If you divide the average annual salary by the hours worked, the pre-tax hourly rate of the average person is approx $10-13/hr
People are constantly living in fear and distrusting of one another and most of the talented people are leaving for better opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees. This isn't 1995, and remember that there are companies out there who are offering better prospects for their employees. A successful organization cannot hope to survive without talented and experienced people, and you cannot maintain success by hiring 21 year-olds who don't know that they can do better.
