I have been working at 24 Hour Fitness part-time (More than a year)

Pros

They are very good at hiring young (college/young adult) aged employees who make the work environment very relaxed and fun.
Constant customer interaction, which can be both rewarding and annoying
Very flexible hours, great for students or those looking for additional employment

Cons

Representatives start at minimum wage depending on your state of employment
Minimal formal training, learn a lot through trial and error

I have been working at 24 Hour Fitness full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Helping people get to their fitness goals, achieve success and improve their lives. Building a team of individuals that inspire others to be the best they can be

    Cons

The hours can be long with workout trends, early mornings, late nights and weekends. There tends to be a lot of turnover or change in clubs/districts.

    Advice to Management

Stay focused on your loyal team members who do the right thing, represent the company well and deliver results.

    Cons

Awful pay, just barely above minimum wage. Lots of phone calls and busy work that did NOT pay off!

    Advice to Management

Compensate your employees instead of "incentive bonuses" the bonus structure is wack! Communism at its finest.
