I worked at 24 Hour Fitness full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Standardized training and development with opportunities for advancement. Benefits and decent pto (a rarity in the fitness industry) and decent wages.

    Cons

Current environment is unstable, company is attempting to regain value after Liebert making for many senior management changes and shifts in priorities and business practices. Also, after recent lawsuits over labor issues, a major factor in promotions is EEO quotas. You will also be working some long hours and weekends.

    Advice to Management

Find the middle ground between old 24 and retail only. Stop looking at EEO quotas and begin promoting the best person for the job.
