Pros

free membership, they work with your schedule, they are open 24 hours (well most of them) and you can get more hours based of that.

Cons

is a part time job unless you are a supervisor or in a management position

I have been working at 24 Hour Fitness part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Helping people improve their lives, flexibel hours, free gym membership

    Cons

Low pay, management only wants highly aggressive sales people, no diversity in team: 90% of fitness team members are white, male, twenty something.

    Advice to Management

Come back to your core values, instead of focusing on profits only. Value your employees, increase wages, add diversity to serve members better.

I worked at 24 Hour Fitness full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Can be fun with an always changing environment. There is a lot of opportunity for growth with the addition of new clubs and turn over. Decent benefits.

    Cons

Always preaching customer first, but once you are on a conference call you realize that is not the case. Work-life balance as a manager is awful, most club managers work 8am to 7pm for not so great pay.

    Advice to Management

Less favoritism, if there is a high Club Manager turn over rate it might be on the District Manager.
