I worked at Aéropostale part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

If you enjoy retail and shopping..then it's food because you're surrounded by closed and get to assist customers with purchases.

Cons

Barely any hours.
Pay =whatever minimal wage is in your state

Advice to Management

Need to pay better and provide more opportunities to work

    I worked at Aéropostale full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Aggressive bonus options
    Fun and very Fast paced
    Good retailer to start out at as far as learning one way of providing service, but definite opportunities abound

    Cons

    Unrealistic expectations of salaried management
    Very reactive to business, but never proactive enough to allow managers to plan.
    Regional management was very inappropriate and unprofessional.

    Advice to Management

    Solicit more feedback from store level employees and management. There were no excuses for the comments made by regional management about hiring practices and the "culture" of Aeropostale.
