Pros

NIce people work their. Managers help as long as you are willing to put the work in. Good training for next job.

Cons

The compensation is not really up to par with a lot of other jobs that offer it in other industries.

Advice to Management

More realistic trainings need to happen instead of wasting your time on things that are not truly applicable to the situations you encounter.

    Pros

Strong brand recognition, cutting edge technology, great internal partner support, creative processes for engaging clients and supporting them even when we may not have exactly what they need, most leadership is very supportive and engaged with the producers and mid level associates. Compensation packages are good, the base could use a little work. But if you are a producer in sales, commissions are strong, ucapped, and highly motivating.

    Cons

Internal communication is a valuable, aquired skill, and cannot be ignored with ADP. Its important to build strong relationships with your sales, implementation, support and service partners to best position yourself for success. This can be very time consuming and require you to focus limited time in unlimited directions. There are many tools internally, all are designed to help get the job done, but there is sometimes a frustrating overlap and redundantcy that creates a hightened stress level.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for listening to the ideas in the field. Two years ago this feedback would have been different. The Big Red Machine (said with affection) is really kicking into high gear with Workforce Now 4.0 and making some very strong enhancements for our clients and prospects. Embracing social media, expanding the BPO offerings, and increasing our flexibility with internal and external partners has really made the job exciting.

"In adp, there is not one career path, at every position I have been given a multitude of different paths to pursue"

    Pros

    People, work/life balance,job security

    Cons

Hurry up and wait interview processes (even when interviewing internally), communication gaps within company, few federal holidays off-although it seems tedious most employees dip into vacation days so they can be home with thie children (ie presidents day,Martin Luther king day).

    Advice to Management

Be more cognizant of candidates for positions as waiting weeks and months without word on position is frustrating. Also, cross BU lack of communication makes it diffiicult to be "one adp".
