Pros

At ADP there's a wealth of knowledge spread across a large organization, but with tools like chatter & a collaborative culture, it's easy to quickly get what you need to improve your knowledge base.

Compensation & reward is based heavily on Individual effort though, which I prefer. You can control your own destiny & it really is a "you get out of it what you put into it" environment. In my region, the management is supportive, highly skilled & overall adds a lot to my ability to be a successfull individual. Overall a fantastic place to work.

Cons

This wouldn't be a good fit for someone who can't easily adapt to change. The industry forces a lot of change from both a technology & service model perspective. As sales people we need to keep up with all the changes as well as learn new ways to position our service to the marketplace.

Also, since there's so much to learn, it's not easy to ramp up quickly. you have to embrace the training period, or you won't succeed long term.

Advice to Management

Keep communicating to the masseso we know the hogher level goals o the company. Also, stay focussed on the roadmap for improved technology & services.

    Pros

Great name recognition in the marketplace.
Leading edge solutions (for complex needs).
    Great people.
    Strong initial training.

    Cons

While initial training is strong, very little time spent from management to help you grow.
    Numbers are expected very quickly.
Challenging industry with a lot of competition.
Comp plans seem to get ratchetted down every year.
"What have you done for me lately" culture. Be sure you understand the culture before accepting a position.

    Advice to Management

Don't take a "one size fits all" approach to managing.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

There is a lot of income potential and avenues to move up within the company after you have been there for about 2 years

    Cons

The SBS division is definitely an entry level position, the compensation is that of an entry level position and the nature of the work is also that of an entry level position. Great for about a year and a half to two years but after that you have to either move to another division within ADP or get a different(better) job somewhere else

    Advice to Management

Change the compensation plan to retain employees in SBS during their first year
