Approves of CEO

Pros

Stable company that will be around for a long time. My management has always been flexible with my work/personal life by allowing me to work from home when needed. Sales and Service have the most people and the best chance at advancement.

Cons

Salraies are OK to below average when compared to other companies. If you are not in a Sales or Service position, you will find fewer opportunities for advancement. Sales has a tendency to set the marketing strategy.

Advice to Management

After recently letting go several long-time employees, overall morale is low and there does not seem to be any attempts to change.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

The pay is OK and the benefits are good.

    Cons

No place for advancement unless you want to go into management. This is a dead end position unless you have a cs degree and can make the move into IT. Management is only concerned about making their numbers.

Former Employee - District M in Lenexa, KS
    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Good Training... contrary to overwhelming support
    Great Resume builder
    Good comp if you produce
    Good Benefits
Good upward movement... if you know people

    Cons

    Very Large company
*45,000 employees - often get lost in the shuffle
*In 5 years with ADP received a $25 Christmas bonus (1 time)
*Numerous client issues because service cannot serve the large number of clients
    Lots of competition
Market is already saturated with the big 3 (ADP, Paychex, Quickbooks) - you must create believers.
When you resign - they choose to fire you - benefits stop that night!
Very boring product/service. Hard to have passion about what you do... A means to an end if you care about what you are doing with your career/life.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers only from within. Many managers are hired from outside without any "real" ADP experience. Difficult to respect them.
