I have been working at ADP full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Widest variety of products and services, rapid innovation in the scope of services offered, up to the minute pursuit of cutting edge trends in the marketplace. Continual pursuit of value based products that generate high revenues in a commoditized marketplace. If you're looking for a product to sell based on value over price, ADP offers a number of good choices and provides the ability to partner-sell high dollar products.

    Cons

Poor perception of service delivery after the sale and during implementation from clients. Call center service model dilutes the value for many clients and prospects. Antique remnants of past technology linger in newly redeveloped product platforms and glaring misses such as no cloud connectivity for timeclocks, lack of adhoc reporting capability for certain employee payroll tax fields and no integration for upmarket time and labor platform.

    Advice to Management

Focus on client services and implementation. As a service bureau, nothing is more central to continued success and control over eroding client base losses to upstart high touch service competitors. Continue innovation and focus on big data but first shift the focus internally to address serious threats from an uncoordinated and frustrating service delivery experience. Too many clients report an unsatisfactory experience with ongoing service and support.
