I worked at ADP full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great place to work if you are OK with cubicles and no outside view. Longevity for non-growth positions. Some have been there over 20 yrs. Management does closely monitor employee "engagement" with annual anonymous questions (12 questions).

    Cons

If you want to innovate and find new ways to do something faster, more efficiently, and more effectively, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A BAD TIME. Low pay for most staff. Low actual enthusiasm as a result. Lots of "bare minimum" work quality. Programming functions outsourced overseas causes delays in getting work done effectively.

    Advice to Management

Take a hard look at the benefits to getting away from repetitive behavior justification "We do it this way because we always did it this way".

I have been working at ADP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Independent work and the opportunity to make a great salary (including commission).

    Cons

Very competitive, inconsistent training/mentoring program, Boy's Club feel, encourage young girls to flirt with bankers and CPAs for business, low base pay for new managers.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on developing staff than just profits. That way your entire staff won't turn over every two years.
