Approves of CEO

I worked at ADP full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Excellent sales training, benefits and compensation package. Rewards program was top notch.

Cons

Very high turnover, many managers were micro managers. Nature of the sales relationship was "turn and burn". Difficult to build long lasting relationships with customers.

Advice to Management

Find better hiring managers, spend more time supporting and nurturing employees vs. breaking them down. Focus was to often on the negative vs. the positive.

I have been working at ADP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good compensation, good training program, opportunity for growth within, biggest company in it's industry (also a catch 22), company continues to grow

    Cons

poor management at local level, absolute burnout job, disengaged co-workers (and sometimes management), your territory is NOT your territory - constantly battle within your own company to sell your products/services, full of dishonest reps

    Advice to Management

Don't micro manage via email so much, lower your pricing in Resource or enhance the service

I worked at ADP full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great Benefits, company events, co workers are awesome! Casual dress, lots of training, tuition reimbursement. Work from home opportunities

    Cons

Mandatory overtime during the holidays, hard to get a day off must request almost a year in advance, right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, managers are left in the dark and have conflicting information.

    Advice to Management

Relax the requirements to get a day off, happy workers are more productive!
