I worked at ADP full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Strong training, immediate success opportunity (you don't need to be senior-level or experienced really at all to make money), consistent promotions and incentives, fun atmosphere and colleagues, weekly recogntion, strong product/branding/technology, fun trips if you do well

Cons

dealing with flakey small business owners, your manager doesn't sell so they sometimes micromanage you, you reach an income cieling cap even though commission is uncapped simply because there is not enough time in the day - is about 95k consistently

Advice to Management

focus on partnerships rather than cold calling

I worked at ADP full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice people. Solid product. Quality benefits. Good opportunity for upward mobility and bonuses.

    Cons

"Standard" sales job. Can be lonely with all the driving from place to place. Territory can be spotty. Management is stubborn.

    Advice to Management

Look past experience and into quality. Just because somebody has had sales experience doesn't mean tang they are a better sales person. Numbers should do the talking.
