I have been working at AIG full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

benefits are good
work from home option

Cons

Values of the company has gone done dramatically over the past several years, as it pertains to staff knowledge and experience, as employees who are very innovated are being let go and newly hired senior management are not on the same page, so the company is stagnated and floundering.
Training - needs improvement

Advice to Management

Internal career paths are very hard to come by. It is out with the experienced staff and in with the new non-experienced staff, who feel they can find a better, faster, and more cost effective way to get work done better, only to find out, it already is.

I worked at AIG full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Have a lot of entry level positions that allow for college grads to get experience.

    Cons

Many senior execs seemed only interested in furthering their careers and lining their pockets. If you raise any issues, you are seen as a problem.

    Advice to Management

The elitist attitude towards employees will only contribute to the revolving door of professionals that leave.

I have been working at AIG full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Work from home policy, good amount of PTO where sick days can be use as vacation days, good work-life balance, multiple business units so might be easier for career progression if willing to relocate.

    Cons

Too many promises but never happen, salary is lower than average paid, poor management, not much perks to employees, poor and unfair performance review system.
