Pros

YOU KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THE STORE AND HOW IT RUNS.

Cons

YOU KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THE STORE AND HOW IT RUNS.. HIGH TURN OVER DUE TO MISCONCEPTION ABOUT CASHIERS JUST SITTING AT THE REG. ITS HARD TO FIND GOOD WORKERS THESE DAYS PEOPLE JUST THINK THEY CAN COME IN AND MAKE GOOD MONEY AND JUST SIT ALL DAY NOPE NOT AT ALDI YOU WORK.. YOU WORK HARD..

Advice to Management

I would suggest that Aldi needs a more thorough training program for the cashiers. Also, a district trainer would be efficient for the company. This would help ensure thorough training for the stores and the paperwork it entails.

I have been working at ALDI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent pay if not working as shift manager at cashiers pay

    Cons

Unbelievably hard physical labor and unrealistic expectations by upper mgmt. Very little chance of upward mobility regardless of performance.

    Advice to Management

Give deserving shift managers a chance to move up the chain.

I worked at ALDI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great Benefits and competitive salaries

    Cons

Work load is unrealistic. Corporate cuts to bare minimum employees just to save a buck. If you're salary, you are expected to work 65-75 hours to use less payroll hours so that it cuts costs for the company when you're only getting paid for 50hours

    Advice to Management

Allowing more on payroll would increase the customer service at aldi, in turn driving sales higher
