I have been working at ALM full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits start Day 1. Tuition reimbursement.

    Cons

The worse team of managers at all levels, I have ever seen in any company, ever. Incompetence, no people skills, extremely hierarchal and controlling. Absolutely no training in place, no growth opportunities, horrible employee morale. Run as far away from this company as your legs will carry you. The reality is far from the picture painted during interviewing/hiring process.

    Advice to Management

Be accepting of suggestions/input from people on the front lines. Listen and solicit employee opinions. Make changes. Encourage honest, open communication, don't bury issues. Promote from within. Make it fun to work there, not like a sweatshop. Your middle managers are bringing you down. Look very closely. You can't still live off past reputation and success. It is a staid, old company that needs to get with the 21st century. Huge training deficiency for employees. Stop micromanaging. Treat customers better. Employees just don't care and it shows.
