Pros

It's a friendly atmosphere. Most people here get along. Everyone is helpful. There's a fair amount of vacation time built into the schedule which helps create a good work/life balance.

Cons

Dead end job. No advancement. The job that you interview for will most likely be the job you have as long as you are here. If your direct supervisor were to leave, it's more likely that he/she will be replaced by someone from outside the company rather than promoted from within.

    Pros

-This ship is sinking quickly so you wont need to hang around too long.
-There was coffee and tea in the break room and the desk chairs were nice?

    Cons

-An aging print dinosaur trying to keep up smaller more agile competition in the digital age, the strategy here feels like the company is grasping at straws just to stay relevant.
-Definitely a boys club in management who don't seem to care much for anything but protecting and justifying their over-sized paychecks.
-The products are outdated, under developed and over valued by management.
-Sales management and product strategy is a joke.
-They make you jump through contractual hoops to make a sale and then "forget" to bill the customer. Then they will claw back your commission earned in 3 months.
-They are monitoring everything you do. Every time you go to the bathroom, enter the building, and pick up the phone they have a record. Managers spend countless hours pouring over this hard data to "help make you better at your job" or in other words "make you feel like you should be fired"
Micromanagement takes a whole new meaning here.

    Advice to Management

CEO: Ask your middle managers what value they bring to the company. Whatever they tell you is a lie. Get rid of them all, and redistribute their bloated pay into quality people in the trenches. Salesforce.com does a better job then most of the managers at the company.
