Doesn't Recommend

I worked at AMK9 as a contractor (More than a year)

Pros

Payroll is usually on-time
Vacations are paid, which means you don't have to pre-plan your finances to account for it

Cons

They have a willingness to force employees to work obscene amounts of hours without compensating them for the extra work.
The living conditions (although not entirely AMK9's fault) are spotty at best.
Pay is lower than average the average for most companies

    Pros

For most people, working as an overseas contractor will pay better than anything comparable in the US. If you're looking to make some money, there are certainly worse ways to do it. The compensation is general sufficient to offset the lack of benefits.

    Cons

Be prepared to be a cog in the wheel. As with most contracting companies, the bottom line is what matters most. And while compensation, at least for overseas employees, can be good, the recruitment can play it up nicer than the reality, so it pays to read the fine print.

    Advice to Management

Communicate, communicate, communicate. And learn to strike a better balance between hewing to the bottom line and paying attention to employee concerns and needs. Happy employees are more productive employees, and a stable workforce reduces company costs over the long run.
