I have been working at ARS-Rescue Rooter full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Largest Heating and Cooling Company in the US

Cons

Health Insurance is extremely expensive. Too many denials for claims, with 1 year waiting period for "pre-existing" conditions. Their technology in the CRM has a lot to be desired.

I have been working at ARS-Rescue Rooter full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits overall, provides company vehicle and gas card. Some on-the-job training available.

    Cons

Not enough technical training. Company teaches technicians how to sell rather than plumbing techniques. Horrible local management. General manager was not a leader. Reacted out of fear rather than planning ahead and leading local office with confidence. Employees treated with disrespect, mistrust and like bad little children.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees with more respect. Trust them, give them the necessary tools to be successful and they will be trustworthy and succeed.

  2. "Mismanaged by the GM"

I worked at ARS-Rescue Rooter full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Home Depot affiliation, Some great people working there (non-managment)

    Cons

The GM is a genius salesman but a horrible, horrible leader. Managment consistantly blames others for his failures. If your not a personal friend of the manager keep your resume up to date, you'll need it. If you are looking for a decent place to work look elsewhere. The GM will promise opportunity, generous pay and good times but in the end you'll just end up with the short end of the
    stick.

    Advice to Management

Corporate - without ethics you will never retain or grow talent at this location. People are treated with ZERO respect by the GM.
